To make a puzzle for the person you love, we need: your name and email, your card details (handled by our payment processor, not stored on our servers), the recipient's name and any details you choose to share (occasions, dates, places, inside jokes, memories). For shipped orders, we also need the shipping address.
The details about the recipient are used only to typeset the puzzle. Both founders read them. Nobody else sees them.
Your email is used for the order confirmation, shipping updates, and, if you opt in, occasional notes from the studio (about a month before major gift-giving holidays).
We do not sell, rent, or share your data. The recipient's information stays between the two of us.
You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by writing to hello@typeandtile.com. We will confirm within a week.
Strictly the ones we need to run the site (session, cart, preferences). No tracking pixels, no third-party advertising trackers. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits, with no personal identifiers attached.
